‘You Cut Me Off and Flipped Me Off!’ — NJ Driver’s Furious Highway Rant at Blue Nissan 370Z Goes Viral

It is dusk on Route 46 East, the sky burning orange over Clifton, New Jersey, and one man’s evening commute has just become a one-man show. His dashcam is rolling, the highway signs are sliding past the windshield, and dead ahead sits the co-star of his fury: a bright blue Nissan 370Z wearing New Jersey plates.

What follows is pure road-rage theater. In the clip, posted to Instagram by @marc_estevez on October 7, the driver unleashes a profanity-laced monologue at the sports car — enraged, he says, because its driver cut him off, rode the shoulder to blow past traffic, and then flipped him off for good measure. The rant is relentless, theatrical, and performed with the energy of a man who has decided this is his moment. To the 59,000 people who have liked the reel so far, it is comedy gold.

The details are what sell it. The dusk light. The Clifton signage confirming exactly which stretch of Jersey asphalt this is. The unmistakable blue of the 370Z — a car that does not exactly blend into traffic — with its plate, A63-YFN, visible for the internet to read. The driver narrates every perceived sin in real time, his voice rising with each one, turning a merge dispute into a full Shakespearean grievance.

Here is the important part, though: nobody gets hurt. No bumpers touch. No one steps out of a car. The 370Z keeps driving, the ranter keeps ranting, and the whole thing ends the way the vast majority of road-rage incidents end — with two cars going their separate ways and one very worked-up narrator. That is precisely why the clip works as entertainment rather than evidence of something darker.

It also has to be said that we are only hearing one side. The driver of the Nissan has not responded publicly, and a dashcam monologue is, by definition, a single-perspective production. Maybe the 370Z driver was reckless. Maybe the narrator missed the full picture. The clip does not settle that — and it does not try to.

Still, the reaction has been enormous. The reel has piled up 59,000 likes and a flood of comments, with viewers split between people howling at the performance and fellow Jersey drivers nodding along like this is simply what Route 46 does to a person. The Garden State’s driving reputation precedes it, and clips like this only cement the legend.

There is a reason dashcam rants travel so well. They are unscripted, they are relatable to anyone who has ever been cut off, and they let viewers enjoy someone else’s meltdown from the safety of their couch. This one has all the ingredients: a clear villain car, a wronged narrator, and a highway everybody in North Jersey knows by heart.

So the next time you are cruising Route 46 East at dusk and spot a bright blue 370Z in the mirror, maybe give it a little extra room. Not because of the car — because somewhere behind you, a dashcam might be rolling, and you do not want to become the co-star of somebody’s viral monologue.
