The walls are closing in on Seattle Seahawks cornerback Terrion Arnold — and the person who may put him away for life is his own childhood friend.
Boakai Hilton, 24, pleaded guilty Monday in a Florida courtroom to three counts of kidnapping, three counts of robbery with a firearm, and conspiracy charges. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison — and as part of the deal, he agreed to testify against Arnold.
📱 Watch the viral moment:
Arnold, 23, is facing eight felony charges stemming from a February incident in Tampa that prosecutors describe as a coordinated revenge plot. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Prosecutors allege Arnold helped organize a scheme targeting three men suspected of stealing more than $250,000 in cash and valuables from an Airbnb he had rented in Largo, Florida. The men were allegedly lured to a Tampa apartment, where they were beaten, robbed at gunpoint, and held against their will for over an hour.
Investigators say they found no evidence connecting the alleged victims to the original theft.
Hilton isn’t the only co-defendant flipping. Two other defendants, Arianna Del Valle and Jasmine Randazzo, previously pleaded guilty and are also required to testify truthfully in future proceedings.
Arnold’s attorneys have denied his involvement, insisting there is no credible evidence linking him to the crimes and maintaining he wasn’t even present at the apartment.
But the legal fallout has already torpedoed his career. Arnold surrendered to authorities on June 24 and was released on $1 million bond. The Detroit Lions — who drafted him in the first round — cut him loose days later. Seattle signed him in August, but the NFL placed him on the commissioner’s exempt list, barring him from practicing or playing while the case unfolds.
He hasn’t taken a single snap for the Seahawks.
Arnold appeared remotely at Monday’s hearing. His next court date is set for December 15 — and with three cooperating witnesses now lined up against him, the former first-round pick’s future has never looked darker.
From NFL stardom to facing life in prison in under a year — it’s one of the most stunning falls in recent league history.
