The worst-kept secret in Kansas City might have come over the last two weeks. Once, though, to be out for the year, one of the Chief’s top defenders lost mid-season has been activated for Saturday’s AFC Divisional round game.

Two weeks ago, the Kansas City Chiefs opened the window for Cornerback Jaylen Watson to return to practice. Over that time, he moved from limited practice last week to full participation this week. On Friday afternoon, the Chiefs activated him to the 53-man roster.
Adding Watson to the Chief’s defense is a big move for the secondary. Watson is versatile at pass defense and run support, and he can come off the edge in blitzing situations. At the onset of training camp, he was penciled in for a starting spot with Trent McDuffie.

However a broken leg derailed his season, and now he’s back and the Chiefs defense has another weapon on the field for the remainder of the post season.
In other roster moves, the Kansas City Chiefs have activated S Deon Bush and LB Swayze Bozeman via Standard Elevation.
