In today’s episode, we’re diving into the absolute blockbuster news rocking Kansas City: cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is officially coming home! According to breaking reports from Jordan Schultz and Adam Schefter, Sneed has agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million to return to the Chiefs.
We break down Brett Veach’s latest masterstroke and what this means for Steve Spagnuolo’s defense. After a stellar run in KC, Sneed’s brief stint in Tennessee was hampered by injuries—but back in a Chiefs uniform, on a low-risk, high-reward “prove-it” deal, this move completely alters the landscape of our secondary.
Then, we discuss how he will slide back into Spags’ lockdown press-coverage scheme, his impact alongside our first-round rookie Mansoor Delane, and why this veteran presence is exactly what a young defensive backfield needs.
