In studying the All-22. There are numerous ways the Chiefs can turn Highmark Stadium into a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. If they follow the game plan, this could be the Chiefs’ largest win margin this season.

The Mandate: Exploit Four Major Absences and Run the Ball
This is the biggest game of the year. The return of Trey Smith transforms our offensive line from a question mark to a battering ram, and the Bills are severely compromised by injury.
Buffalo has officially ruled out four key contributors: DT DaQuan Jones, WR Joshua Palmer, LB Shaq Thompson, and WR Gabe Davis, who is inactive due to inflammation. This is a massive hit to both their trenches and their perimeter offense. We must exploit it with a Power Run-First, Play-Action Attack.
The Bills have the 31st-ranked run defense in the NFL. With both top defensive tackles Ed Oliver (IR) and DaQuan Jones (OUT) gone, their interior is a vacuum waiting to be filled by our run game.
| Unit Advantage | Chiefs’ Plan of Attack | Bills’ Confirmed Vulnerability |
| Chiefs Offense (FULL POWER) | Interior D-Line is Gutted. Losing Oliver/Jones means they lack the size and talent to hold the point of attack consistently. Their defense cannot stop the run or defend play-action. | Limited Offensive Weapons. The reduced receiving corps simplifies our defensive calls, allowing our secondary to focus on bracketing key targets. |
| Chiefs Defense (Targeted Coverage) | Focus on Shakir & Tight Ends. With Palmer and Davis out, Josh Allen’s target tree shrinks dramatically. Our elite secondary must double-team key receivers and bracket the tight end. | Limited Offensive Weapons. The reduced receiving corps simplifies our defensive calls and allows our secondary to focus on bracketing key targets. |

Part I: Offensive Strategy — The Play-Action Power Plan
With Trey Smith at right guard, the concern over the interior line vanishes. The mandate is clear: Establish the run, then burn them with play-action.
The Trey Smith Power Plan: A Clear Point of Attack
- Run Right/Center Priority: We must emphasize running behind Smith and center Creed Humphrey. This sets the foundation for everything else.
- Play-Action Pass Heavily: Once we hit 15+ runs in the first half, we open up the play-action playbook. Deep routes and crossing patterns will exploit the Bills’ compromised interior linebackers.
- Unleash ‘My Golden Jacket Kid’: Rashee Rice, AKA my Golden Jacket Kid, is the perfect weapon for this plan. His speed off the line and YAC ability will turn short
play-action throws into explosive gains against an overstretched Bills defense. We must target him constantly on intermediate routes.

The Hunt/Smith Backfield Mandate
| Running Back | Role & Mandate | Target Usage |
| Kareem Hunt | The Workhorse. Hunt must handle the vast majority of carries. His power running must be the engine of the offense. | 18-25 Carries, 3-5 Targets |
| Brashard Smith | The Change of Pace. His speed must be used on outside zone runs and screen passes. We need his bursts to tire out the Bills’ defense in the second half. | 5-10 Carries, 5-8 Targets |
My Goal: We must rush for 155+ yards this week. Smith’s return and the Bills’ absences make this an expectation.

Part II: Defensive Strategy — Unleash the Rookie and Cage the Quarterback
We have the defensive personnel to shut down this diminished Bills offense.
Demand: The Nohl Williams Snap Count
My demand for Steve Spagnuolo is apparent: Nohl Williams must play an every-down role this week. The data is too compelling to ignore.
My Mandate: Williams’ defensive snap share must climb to 75% or higher against the Bills.

The Josh Allen Containment Plan
- Targeted Coverage: With the Bills’ receiving core reduced, our secondary must focus on Khalil Shakir and tight end Dalton Kincaid. We must eliminate Kincaid as a safety blanket over the middle.
- Discipline is Paramount: The pass rush must prioritize containment over pressure. We use defensive line stunts that maintain edge integrity and force Allen to step up, rather than scrambling out wide.
- LB Responsibility: Nick Bolton and Leo Chenal must prioritize filling the scramble lanes. They cannot overpursue, as an Allen scramble for 15 yards can negate any good coverage.
My Prediction
The Chiefs’ advantage is overwhelming with Trey Smith back, and the Bills are playing severely compromised. The offense will run power and gash them with play-action, while the defense neutralizes Allen’s reduced target tree. This game is ours to lose. We are deep-frying the Bills today.
