Chiefs Final 7-Round Mock Draft

If you’ve watched any of our Four Guys in a Bar Podcast over the last six weeks at Chiefs Blitz, you know we’ve done about five hundred mock drafts. So, with Draft Day upon us, here are my final predictions for the Kansas City Chiefs and the selections I believe they should make.

It’s anyone’s guess who Kansas City Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach will select in round one or throughout the three-day drafting process. Part of me hopes Veach trades out of the first round and has one of those New England Patriots drafts during which they add four or five picks.

They could certainly do that this year, and with a draft-heavy depth chart showing areas of need for the Chiefs, including Offensive and Defensive Line, Running Back, Tight End, and Safety, they would be wise to add picks.

So, will they have a draft pick Thursday Night?

Pick 31 – WR Emeko Egbuko (Ohio State) – This might be the best overall wide receiver prospect in this draft. Blessed with incredible skills and the ability to turn any catch into a big play, why not add another weapon for Patrick Mahomes?

Yes, the exciting pick is either Left Tackle Josh Simmons or a strong defensive tackle, but Kansas City must return to its gunslinging offense, and Egbuko would be an instant home run.

Pick 63 – OT Aireontae Ersrey (Minnesota) – Some have him graded as a first-round talent, but I believe he can be selected in the second round. If the Chiefs trade out of the first round, which I think they will do, Ersery will become a top second-round target.

The Kansas City native from Central High School would love to play for his hometown team, and it’s quite possible we’ll hear his name called on Friday night.

Pick 70 (via Jacksonville) – DT T.J. Sanders (South Carolina) – I’ve had him on virtually every Chiefs mock draft this off-season. He’s a bargain in the third round and would be a terrific fit for the middle of the Chiefs defense.

Pick 95 Edge Tyler Baron (Miami) – Among the edge rushers available at the end of the third round, Baron showcases a high-end motor and the talent to disrupt at the NFL level. He possesses significant upside and is already an excellent edge tackler. His sack totals are increasing, and he strongly reminds me of George Karlaftis.

Pick 99 (from Jacksonville) – TE Gunner Helm (Texas) – Though I like Elijah Arroyo out of Miami, I don’t think he falls this far. Helm has NFL-ready skills catching the ball. He has a firm grasp on route running and could become the eventual success for Travis Kelce.

Pick 133 – RB Devin Neal (Kansas) – Three years from now, everyone will be talking about Neal when we look back at the 2025 NFL draft. He enters the NFL with the best field awareness and patience at the point of attack that I’ve seen since LeVeon Bell. He doesn’t have home run speed, but he’s quick enough to make big plays for the Chiefs offense.

Pick 182 – (from Jacksonville) LB Jack Kiser (Notre Dame) – The Chiefs need depth at the linebacker position. Kiser is another high motor guy, who is a steal this late in the draft. He could become a starter in 2026 and expand the Chiefs’ depth at the linebacker position.

Pick 251 – S Sebastian Castro (Iowa) – This is a no-brainer selection for the Chiefs. With Bryan Cook a free agent next season, Castro possesses terrific instincts as a defender, boasting range and sufficient speed to excel at the NFL level.

Pick 257 – DT Nazir Stackhouse (Georgia) – I’m not sure why he’s still on the board, but for some reason, he has fallen. He is already a premier run defender and possesses two NCAA Championship rings. The Chiefs have a history of loving Georgia players, and he could be a dominant player for Kansas City.
