Rumors started swirling Wednesday night that Pop Star, Taylor Swift would make her second visit to Arrowhead Stadium Thursday Night. Per our NFL Insider, Jordan Schultz, she will indeed be watching her boyfriend, Travis Kelce perform once again on his stage.
On Wednesday evening Taylor Swift kicked off the opening of her Era’s Tour film at the Grove Theatre in Los Angeles. Among the most notbale person at her side, no it was not Kansas City Chiefs Tight End, Travis Kelce, but none other than fellow superstar, Beyonce. The premier is set to hit theatres tonight and Friday. Thus, with her promotional gig done, she’s flying to Kansas City today to watch her Beau and his teammates take on the Denver Broncos.
The decision to attend the Chiefs game this evening is also good for her brand. She’ll be blasted all over the NFL’s Amazon Prime game this evening, and get some free publicity for her film, which she probably doesn’t need, but she does get to spend time in a city that has adopted her.
The fact both she and Kelce donated a significant amount of money to the Local Harvesters organization, tells me this relationship isn’t a publicity stunt of any kind. Considering her workload and world tour that won’t end until late 2024, she appears to be making every effort to manage her career obligations and her social life. I’m no Swiftie, but if you read some of the press surrounding the world’s most high-profile entertainer, some have stated her willingness to finally start enjoying her life away from performing.
For Travis Kelce, he’s been focusing on rehabbing his injured ankle but is expected to play tonight. The Chiefs are a far different team with Kelce on the field, and this is an important game for Kansas City to keep the Broncos down at the bottom of the AFC West. After all these teams play again two weeks from Sunday in Denver.
With Travis Kelce expected to play this evening, the NFL and the Swifties need to buckle up because tonight’s game just got a bolt of electricity.
