Chiefs Update: Two Veteran Starters Added to Injury List

Before the team departed for Buffalo, the Kansas City Chiefs added two defensive starters to their injury report, and both are key cogs in their defensive unit.

The Kansas City Chiefs jetted off to Buffalo this afternoon but before they left, Head Coach, Andy Reid added starters, Charles Omenihu (Illness), and Willie Gay (Neck) to the injury report.

The team also ruled out Kadarius Toney (Hip) for the game. He joins Wanya Morris (Concussion) and Derrick Nnadi (Arm Contusion), Skyy Moore (Knee), who had been previously ruled out. After having surgery on Friday, the Chiefs will likely place Nnadi on injured reserve, creating a roster spot for Sunday’s divisional game.

As insurance, the team added defensive tackles, Mike Pennel and Matt Dickerson from the practice squad.

At this hour, the Bills have not updated their injury report, but it was a lengthy list on Friday.
