After signing Gardner Minshew to a contract on Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs returned a familiar face on the roster.

With OTA sessions beginning shortly, the Kansas City Chiefs have rounded out their quarterback room with the addition of Bailey Zappe. He was on the Chiefs practice squad for part of the 2024 season, and Head Coach Andy Reid has always liked the former New England Patriots starter.
Zappe has bounced around a bit, but you need four quarterbacks heading into the off-season and training camp. On Wednesday, the Chiefs signed former Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback Gardner Minshew to back up Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs also have Chris Oladokun on the roster as the fourth quarterback. Again, you need arms at this stage of the off-season. If the Chiefs keep three quarterbacks, Bailey would clearly be chosen over Oladokun.
