Yes, the Chiefs have other needs to fill in the upcoming NFL draft, but adding the TCU standout would give Kansas City another young wide receiver prospect.
The TCU wide receiver quickly emerges as one of the most promising prospects in the upcoming NFL draft. With exceptional speed, impressive size, and the versatility to play multiple positions on the field, Williams demonstrates a distinct skill set.
Some scouts compare him to San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel and the Seahawk’s DK Metcalf. With his acrobatic dives for the ball, he quickly earned a reputation as one of the most exciting players in college last season.
But what makes this young athlete such an exceptional talent?
Williams has a unique combination of size and strength. At 6’5” and 225 pounds, he possesses speed and versatility that few other receivers in this draft have. He creates a matchup nightmare and brings considerable excitement to the offense.

Imagine what it would look like if Williams joined the Kansas City Chiefs. As the X wide receiver, Patrick Mahomes already has a potent offense with players like Travis Kelce, assuming he chooses to stay and not retire, and Xavier Worthy as the Z wide receiver, along with Rasheed Rice in the slot when he returns next season.
Williams would give opposing defenses nightmares. You can easily picture it – Mahomes dropping back, three players wide open, and it’s anyone’s guess who will get the ball. The possibilities are limitless.
He is a unique talent, and it is clear why numerous NFL teams are excited about his potential. With his exceptional size, speed, and playmaking ability, he possesses all the tools to impact the league immediately.
If he can keep developing his route-running and strengthen his physique, there’s no telling how high his ceiling could rise. Chiefs fans, as well as NFL fans in general, should pay close attention to Savion Williams – this guy has genuine star potential.
Where Savion Williams gets drafted is anyone’s guess, but most prognosticators have him falling into the 4th-5th rounds. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if a team falls in love with him, he could be a second-day pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
