Skyy Moore placed on IR as Chiefs Activate Hopkins

With the addition of Wide Receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, the Kansas City Chiefs had to make a roster move. It was not expected, nor was their any indication that Skyy Moore would be placed on injured reserve.

After passing his physical Thursday morning, DeAndre Hopkins was officially added to the Chiefs 53-man roster. To make room for their new wide receiver, Kansas City placed receiver Skyy Moore on injured reserve with a core injury.

To date, Moore was not listed on any of the Chiefs injury reports, so it’s possible this happened in practice on Wednesday. Either way, this might not be bad for Moore if this has been a lingering issue. It gives him four weeks to heal.

As for Hopkins, he will practice Thursday, and there is a chance he could get some snaps on Sunday when the Chiefs travel to Las Vegas to face the Raiders. The AFC West showdown has always been entertaining, which could increase if Hopkins gets on the field.
