Updated October 7, 2026
On the latest edition of The Chiefs Blitz Podcast on YouTube, though he didn’t have his best stuff Sunday Night, Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes took off for the footlights to secure a 23-20 win over the New York Jets. How’d he do that when the passing game was out of sync most of the game, the Chiefs Blitz Podcast crew, Nick Athan, Lou Montagna, Andre Tillman, and Hense Todd break it all down.
Though the game was hardly a thing of beauty, the Kansas City Chiefs led by their All-World Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes ran past the New York Jets in Gotham 23-20 to move to 3-1 on the season. KC’s defense and rushing attack late in the game sealed the win but this offense is hardly a polished group. Can Mahomes and Head Coach Andy Reid fix the offense? We discuss that and more on the show.
