Chiefs Blitz Podcast Recap Chiefs 21-20 loss to the Lions
Updated October 7, 2026
In this episode of the Chiefs Blitz Podcast on YouTube, Nick Athan, Andre Tillman, and Hense Todd look back on the Kansas City Chiefs 21-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. So much went wrong for the boys in red, but we did learn a few positives from the loss that could service KC better down the road.
Plus we offer our takes on the absence of Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones, who watched the game from the stands. Which player was a greater loss for the Chiefs Thursday night, and had one of them played, would the outcome have been different?
In the end, the offense sputtered with dropped passes and poor play-calling but the defense was a bright light. We discuss all that and more! Enjoy the Show!
