For nearly 14 years, I was the proud Publisher of Warpaint Illustrated.com and the highly successful Warpaint Illustrated Monthly magazine. I’ve worked with ESPN, FOX, NFL Network & Radio, and locally with 38 The Sports Spot, Metro Sports, KMBC TV-9, and KSHB TV-41.
Though I retired from full-time active writing six years ago, like all Chiefs fans, I feel blessed to be in the midst of a football renaissance in Kansas City – thanks to Patrick Mahomes.
ChiefsBlitz.com was formed to offer a fan’s perspective, very similar to what we did at Warpaint Illustrated. As we move forward, some of our former friends will be back with content and their unique perspectives.
As you may remember, we had a very successful Podcast, Out of Bounds, but this go-round, we will have a Chiefs Blitz YouTube channel to offer more analysis and insight into the Kansas City Chiefs. We invite you to join our social media platforms, located at the top of our website, and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.
Our scope of coverage will include all aspects of the Chiefs, encompassing hot news, breaking news, and analysis for pre-game and post-game commentary, as well as AFC West News, special guests, and fantasy. Our Memorabilia Shop is NOW OPEN!
Additionally, we will incorporate local content alongside other professional and collegiate teams in the area.
I’ve been a die-hard Chiefs fan since the ’60s, and have been blessed to grow up on the same street as Hank Stram and Bobby Bell. For 50 years, I was very blessed to be a friend of the late Len Dawson, my childhood sports hero. The Chiefs are part of my DNA, and I’m excited to engage a new generation of Chiefs fans and also bring back some of the flavor of my youth with former Chiefs players that remain such a big part of the Chiefs Kingdom.
My entire life, I’ve bled Chiefs Red through all the lows and the extreme highs. Now I get to provide another forum for Chiefs content in a different era.
